This Privacy Policy describes how Lunar Cycles (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Lunar Cycles mobile application (the “App”) and the website lunarcycles.tortato.com (the “Site”). By using the App or the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Lunar Cycles is designed as a privacy-respecting offline-first utility. We do not require an account, an email, a phone number, or any sign-up. The App stores all of your data locally on your device using SQLite.
The App may collect or process:
The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ads may use your device's anonymized advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple's IDFA) to serve more relevant content. You can reset or limit ad tracking at any time in your device settings.
On iOS, the App requests App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent before any tracking. If you decline, ads will still appear but will be non-personalized.

Lunar Cycles offers a single optional one-time premium purchase (Lunar Cycles Premium Lifetime, USD $4.99 or local equivalent) that removes advertisements from the App.
This is a non-recurring purchase. There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewal, no trial periods, and no recurring billing. You pay once and the entitlement is permanent on the platform where you purchased it.
Transactions are processed entirely by Apple App Store In-App Purchase (on iOS) or Google Play Billing (on Android). We do not see, store, or have access to your payment information.
If you reinstall the App or switch devices on the same store account, you can recover the entitlement at any time via the “Restore Purchases” button inside the paywall screen.
The App uses the following third-party SDKs, each governed by its own privacy policy:
All data created by you within the App (events, alarms, preferences, location) is stored locally on your device. It is retained until you delete it inside the App or uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes all locally stored data. We do not retain copies on any server.
Because we do not collect personal identity data, there is nothing personal to leak from our side. Communication with third-party SDKs (AdMob, Firebase) uses HTTPS/TLS. The locally stored database is protected by your device's standard sandboxing.
Lunar Cycles is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that requires our attention, please contact us and we will respond promptly.
Lunar Cycles computes ephemerides locally using established astronomical models (VSOP87 and ELP2000-derived). Results are accurate to within roughly one minute for general civilian use, but the App is not intended for scientific navigation, mission-critical timing, or astronomical research. Always cross-reference authoritative sources for high-precision applications.
The sections above describe the App. The Site (lunarcycles.tortato.com) has no accounts and no forms. It uses Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to measure visits and which pages are read. The consent you give the App for ads (Google UMP) does not cover the Site, and the choice you make on the Site does not cover the App.
Analytics cookies on the Site are off by default. They are only set after you accept them in the cookie card, and until then, or if you reject, the Google tag runs in a cookieless mode with no identifier stored in your browser. The Site shows no ads and sets no advertising cookies.
